PNL Nursing is a market-leader in the field of children’s Managed Homecare and Nursing. The service users we look after may have
PNL works with Local Authorities’ Social Services departments and NHS Primary Care Trusts across London and the home counties, providing trained and experienced Registered Nurses and Community Healthcare Assistants into the homes of young people. PNL operates under contracts, service level agreements and framework agreements and is on many Approved Provider Lists.
We also support Service Users with Direct Payments, Individual Budgets, NHS Continuing Care and private funding.
PNL Nursing specialises in a hands-on style of support for people who need significant daily support and for whom homecare is preferred to hospital admission or life in a residential setting. We do not offer ‘traditional’ domiciliary care, i.e. short visits of a half-hour or so.
Our Nurses and Carers
The majority of PNL nursing’s staff are Registered Children’s Nurses (RCN, RN8) and Care Assistants with many years experience looking after sick and disabled children, from babies to teenagers. They live all over Greater London and beyond.
Children and young people are looked after by PNL staff for 8 or more hours a day with all their health, care and development needs catered for expertly under the terms of individual support plans. Many have benefitted from seeing the same carers from childhood through to early adulthood.
Staff help facilitate children’s play and educational activities, assist them both in and out of the house, and help them achieve their independence with expert mobility, personal care and medications management and any health needs. For peace of mind, staff are available for day and night duties, sleep-in shifts and respite.
